Ploughing 2008

Thanks to all those who came to visit our Maize Maze last year we hope you enjoyed your visit to meet the pirate and his crew.

To compete the year we held a fund raising event for Sherborne Rugby Club the NIGHT OF HORRORS which raised a fantastic amount of £442.00 for the club funds. All that participated during the evening had an enjoyable time.

Our birthday parties were a great hit so donít forget give us a call to discuss your requirements, those children who gave us a try went away saying itís the best party ever!!

We would personally like to thank the family from Rochester who wrote to the Blackmore Vale expressing their time at the Maize

Amazing Maize Maze at Crackmoor:

  • A party of six of us, including two children, ages 9 and 12, spent a wonderful week at Hurst Cottage, Stalbridge.
  • We did the usual things like Monkey World, all of which were very expensive, but luckily we spotted the sign for the above activity on a day out. It was the best thing we did as it turned out to be a wonderful experience. It would be no exaggeration to say it was probably the only time both adults and children had a fantastic time at a reasonable cost.
  • The owners, Greg and Jenny Kellaway, extended a warm welcome and we even got to see the milking. The homemade cakes were great and nothing was too much trouble. Where can you go these days and get such a personal welcome?
  • On our return we asked the children to sum up our week in Dorset in one word and they both went the Maize Maze Ė two words really!
